Opened in 2022, and located on North Davidson in the heart of NODA, Bar a Vins is a hip Charlotte wine bar to grab a small bite and a glass of wine from their extensive wine menu. It's definitely one of the more "eclectic" wine stores/menus in the city. What is even greater is the choice of natural wines if that is something you are in to. Not only do they have a list of wines to grab by the glass, there are plenty of wines on the shelves that you can choose, purchase a bottle and pay the corking fee ($10).
There is a very nice bar and lots of seating for two. The vibe of this spot in Noda is great- come grab a glass before reservations at some of the other great restaurants in the neighborhood, or meet a friend for a glass after work.
Jordan and Emily Keesee (FRG partner and our marketing director) visited last summer before a concert in the area and ordered glasses of Rose, as well as an Orange wine they had by the glass and some small bites. Jordan's favorite is the "Fancy Caviar Service" which is Rainbow Trout Roe served with Lay's Potato chips and creme fraiche. Emily ordered bread and butter, as well as a meat and cheese board. Both did not disappoint!
